Medellín, Colombia – El Rosal House
In the heart of Medellín, amid lush gardens and classic architecture, a celebration blossomed that combined the best of both worlds: the charm of a destination wedding and the timeless elegance of a historic home. Ingrid and Robert dreamed of a day filled with romance, sensitivity, and natural beauty, and that's precisely what we created together.
An ethereal outdoor ceremony
The ceremony took place in the gardens of Casa El Rosal, an intimate and sophisticated location surrounded by trees and fresh air. We designed an open, ethereal space, like a secret garden blooming in the heart of the city.
The altar was an arch-like floral arrangement, rich in texture and color, yet with a natural spirit that seemed to spring from the earth itself. Each flower was designed to frame the bride and groom's story with gentleness and poetry. Tulips, ranunculus, roses, clematis, and wildflowers mingled with green foliage, creating a vibrant and enveloping composition.
The little page girls walked among flowers with woven baskets filled with petals, as if they were part of the garden that celebrated the union.
A night under a floral sky
The reception was held in a white nautical tent that we completely transformed. The tables were a mix of styles: imperial with long natural linen tablecloths, and round tables made of light wood. Each centerpiece was designed like a small garden: block arrangements, vibrant flowers, and romantic tones that echoed the surroundings.
For the round tables, we created tree-like, unstructured, and organic sculptural pieces that appeared to have grown naturally from the tables. The focal point was a large, hanging botanical ceiling, constructed of green foliage, suspended flowers, and three chandeliers that hung like jewels between the branches.
This ceiling connected to two columns covered in vegetation, forming a vertical garden in the heart of the room. Below, the dance floor had a light blue checkerboard pattern, and in the background, the stage was framed with flowers, as if it were a concert in the middle of an enchanted forest.
A tribute to beauty and connection
This wedding was a celebration of the classic, the natural, and the deeply human. Ingrid and Robert brought with them a clear vision: they wanted to honor love, good taste, and the connection with their closest people. And Medellín—with its warm light, verdant landscapes, and vibrant soul—was the perfect setting to do so.
For Clementina, this wedding was an opportunity to revisit the local scene with awe, to transform an intimate location into a poetic universe. A night that reminds us that no matter where in the world we celebrate, as long as there are flowers, stories, and true beauty… everything flourishes.
