We'll teach you everything about the world of flowers with the help of our director and floral designer, Daniela Ramírez, who is passionate about floral arts and nature. Her time in London and Mexico led her on a journey of learning and discovering floral wonders that have enriched her knowledge and experience in this field.
Our floral design workshop is perfect if you're a professional florist, wedding designer, or just passionate about flowers. We'll be there for you, and we'll answer all your floral questions.
We'll use the "Lose Form" style in all designs, so the flowers float, creating a sense of serenity and freshness. During the workshop, you'll learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of this style.
The experience will be divided into learning sessions ranging from less to more difficult. You can take the workshop for one, two, or three days.

Day One - Discovering the Magic
Level of complexity: No previous knowledge required.
Our first day will be planned to experience a discovery through floral care, knowledge, and the basics of floral composition.
First session: Floral care, cutting, hydration, selection and uses.
Session 2 - Ikebana Design: Find inspiration through connection with nature.
History of Ikebana design.
- Basic structures for Ikebana: Utsuwa, Kenzan, Precision scissors.
- Fundamentals: Power lines, measurements and space management.
- Making our Ikebana composition.
Third session - Vase design: Vase composition inspired by European techniques, from floral selection, composition and aesthetics.
- Basic Fundamentals: Line, Shape and Space in Organic Design.
- Color management.
- Wire mesh technique for vases.
- Demonstration.
- Practice.
Fourth session - Composition: We will create a stage with the designed arrangements, we will use elements to complement based on the rule of thirds, weight control and balance.
Day Two - Floral Magic Blooms
Complexity level: Medium - Advanced.
On the second day we will experience floral recognition, creating more specialized and complex compositions:
We will design two centerpieces, a still life, and a garden-style runner.
First session:
- Organic floral design: handling of line, shape, space and color.
- Selection of flowers in organic design.
- Color palette selection.
- Environmentally friendly structures: Chicken Wire and Floral Frogs.
Second session - Centerpieces: We will design two styles of centerpieces inspired by European and Eastern techniques: Floral Garden and Still Life.
- Floral garden demonstration for centerpieces.
- Practice.
- Demonstration of European-style urn arrangement.
- Practice.
Third session - Composition: We will complete a table setup with the arrangements made in the workshop and complementary elements such as tableware, fabrics, candlesticks, seeds, and fruits.
Fourth session - Assembly: We will create scenarios with our designed arrangements that will then be photographed.
Day Three - Experience the floral magic.
Complexity level: Medium - Advanced.
On this day, we'll unify what we've learned and take it to a more advanced level. We'll delve into advanced concepts of setting and scenography that you'll be able to understand and recreate at your events.
We will create a stage composed of different types of installations such as: organic arch, planters and hanging arrangements.
First session - Bridal bouquets.
- Organic bouquet design: Shape, Depth and Color.
- Selection and editing of materials.
- Bridal bouquet demonstration.
- Practice.
Second session - Large-scale installations.
We'll design an organic and natural setting that feels like part of the space. We'll create unstructured arches, natural gardens, or hanging arrangements that will create a fairytale atmosphere:
- Recognition of space.
- Conceptualization and sketches of the space.
- Structures and assembly techniques.
- Selection and preparation of the material.
- Mounting.
